JOB SUMMARY: • Loading and mixing fertilizer formulas. • Ability to follow and interpret fertilizer and pesticide labels • Maintaining application logs and other records as necessary. • Reading field maps and global positioning devices. • Working around and handling hazardous materials properly. • Performing daily inspection of equipment and minor repairs as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. • Must have strong communication skills; ability to communicate in appropriate, professional manner with managers, supervisors, employees, customers, vendors and general public. • Must exhibit a professional and positive image. • Willing to work extended hours. REQUIREMENTS: • High School diploma or GED preferred. • Must currently have or ability to obtain Idaho Professional Applicators license with all applicable endorsements. • Must have a Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement.
